Finish all pocket edges with a zigzag stitch. Press pocket facing (top edge) and topstitch 2cm from the right side. Fold pocket outer edges inwards by 1cm and press.
Transfer pocket marking (front pants) to the right side of the fabric with basting stitches. Pin pocket to the front pants according to the marking and topstitch close to the edge from the right side. Remove basting thread.
Pin front and back pants right sides together. Sew side seams and inseams. Finish seam allowances together with a zigzag stitch and press towards the back.
Finish waistband length edges (short edges) with a zigzag stitch. Pin waistband right sides together into a loop and close the waistband length seam (short edge). Leave a seam opening of about 3cm in the lower half (inside waistband) to pull the elastic through. Fold the waistband in half and press.
Pin right sides together against the top edge of the pants (note side markings) and sew. Finish seam allowances together and press downwards.
Cut the elastic band to the specified length (check on your own waist if necessary) and pull it through the seam opening at the left side seam with a safety pin. Close the elastic band, sew the waistband seam opening by hand.
Finish pant hems with a zigzag stitch. Fold in and turn up 1cm each. and topstitch from the right at just under 1cm.
